Galapagos Day 7: San Cristobal

On our last day, we pulled out all of the stops to wrap our time in the Galapagos Islands. The day started with a hike to see Blue and Red-Footed Boobies. We saw a bunch up close along with some chicks.
After the hike, we had a chance to go for a swim and do some snorkeling. Given the number of epic snorkels we had already, we didn’t expect too much. 5 minutes in, Julia and I saw two White-Tipped Reef Sharks being chased by a sea lion. At first, we were Team Shark as we followed the action, but ended up on Team Sea Lion once we spent the next 45min playing with them in the surf. They were super engaged and did laps around us as we dove and spun.
